Your Heart condition determines the condition of your Bones?

Lesson 50

“A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22)
When Lazarus died, Martha’ pre-occupation with the facts prevented her to receive the full provision in the Word of the Lord, saying “I am the resurrection and the life”.
Jubilee Bible 2000
“Jesus said unto her, Did I not say unto thee that if thou wouldest believe thou shalt see the glory of God?”
When we lift our gaze, looking away from the natural into the all-inclusive provision of the abundant Life in Christ, we engage with His miracle power that is available by faith.
Having your heart filled with the consciousness of what you don’t have, can’t afford, won’t ever be able to do, etc creates a poverty mindset, causing you to go into a downward spiral. Out of this abundance of negativity, the mouth speaks, cursing your future with failure, lack, and destruction. But when you look “away” unto Jesus, attaching your faith to His promises, you can switch to the abundance of His provision in Christ, according to the riches of His glory.
I once was a captive to the mindset of poverty, and only being able to see what I didn’t have, I continually spoke into existence exactly that which I didn’t want. I never realized it until someone told me that I had a poverty mindset. To say the least, I was not impressed but thought that this lady had great audacity to say that to me. By the grace of God,

I took a hard look at myself and realized that she was right! The truth shocked me out of my self-made prison house and as I listened to myself speaking, I could hear the destruction and death that came out of my mouth, creating the exact opposite of what I desired.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Prov.18:21). Ouch! Suddenly the sword of the Lord cut through my blinders, separating flesh and spirit, joints and marrow and penetrated right through to my heart.
Now it was decision time to choose to see as God sees and to speak only the Word of God, which has life in it.
I had an eye opener, but I had to be renewed in the spirit of my mind. Then to undo the damage I have done by my speech, empowering the enemy to steal from me and my household. A turnaround was imminent!
The abundance of life is a gift, purchased with the precious blood of Jesus. This requires open eyes of our understanding to see what He has made available for us – a life of victory by the power of the Holy Spirit.
And of course, then it requires action on our part to receive it for ourselves. We simply have to tap into His glorious supply by faith, stepping out of the fleshly, limited thinking into the Spirit-supply, the mind of Christ, training the tongue under His power to be used as a creative force of life for His glory! Hallelujah
When our mindset switches to the status of abundance in Christ, it becomes a magnet for well-being – also in our physical bodies. A spring comes into your step and your physical body receives a new sound frequency – the sound of victory and joy, which is like medicine to the bones.
