When we
truly cast our cares upon the Lord, putting our trust in Him, a supernatural
peace encompasses us and enters deep into the heart.
”Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall
keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
This
peace cannot be explained by man, it goes beyond the mind and infiltrates
spirit, should and body. This is a place of transcendence,
So, the
peace of God goes beyond the mind, encompasses and enters deep into the heart.
It benefits the mind, body and spirit. When we enter transcendence into the
realm of the manifest presence of God, which is the glory realm peace, joy and
love abound.
Shalom
denotes wholeness of spirit, soul and body. It is the Spirit of God
infiltrating your whole being, bringing it into inner tranquility that remains
in the midst of every storm. There is no fear, doubt, unbelief or trepidation.
It is a place of blissful contemplation on the goodness and grace of the
Almighty. It is Christ in us the hope of glory, radiating from us in joy, hope
and love. It brings well-being, prosperity and progress, invading the
atmosphere around us and drawing others to Christ in us.
Keep your
mind on things above! (Col.3:1-3), because as a man thinks in his
heart, so is he. (Prov.23:7)
What we
think determines our whole state of being!
“You will guard him and keep him
in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its
character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You,
and hopes confidently in You. So, trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him,
lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an
everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]." (Isaiah
26:3-4 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition)
Finally,
I want to bless you with the Priestly blessing of Numbers 6:24-26:
"The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
and be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon
you and give you peace."
Lift your face, seeing how Jesus shines
His love, grace and peace over you, absorbing it into your spirit by faith. It
will remove all darkness and His character will manifest towards you as you
stay in the eye of His presence in perfect wholeness where no storm can invade.
