What is the Sound you Carry?

Lesson 24
I was watching the trumpet player removing a valve and pouring oil into it, when the Holy Spirit quickened this revelation to my
spirit:  In the running around of busyness and allowing ourselves to become stressed out, many have become dry and squeaky,
full of murmuring and complaining, criticism and strife and have lost the sound of praise to our Lord.

When we take a moment to listen to the sound that is coming forth from our inmost being, we can quickly assess the state of
our oil level.  If we have become squeaky, brassy and abrasive, the "sound" we bring forth does not bring glory to our King and
it is grieving the Holy Spirit. Let's humble ourselves before the King and be replenished in the silence to be filled with fresh oil,
carrying the sound of His Presence.

Eph. 5:18 "
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;  Speaking to yourselves in
psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;  Giving thanks always for
all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
".

"Be being filled with the Spirit", speaks of a continual drinking of the new wine and the result is that we will overflow with songs of
praise, having a melody of thankfulness in our hearts and a joy unspeakable, shining forth His glory!
Let us be like the five wise virgins, having a full oil supply for our lamps and some to spare while awaiting the coming of our
Bridegroom.

Come to think of it:  those wise virgins must have been worshipers, singing praises to Him day and night - full of righteousness,
peace and joy in the Holy Ghost - Kingdom ambassadors! God's eyes are looking for worshipers.......!
