It’s amazing how many adverts and articles we come across that emphasize sleeplessness as though it is the norm.
The culprit is not noise or lights or such as much as it is the fact that most people do not take time to release the happenings of the day to the Lord.
When your mind is swimming with the busyness of the day, it is hard to come into a place of rest and peace.
Sleeplessness is robbing many of the much-needed refreshing and restoration that comes from a good night’s rest and when your body is fatigued, there are many side factors that are detrimental to your health.
So, take the time to unload the traumas, conflicts, worries and stresses of the day before you retire. Let the Holy Spirit shine His light into areas which need to be washed with the blood of the Lamb because of negative words, attitudes, behaviors of yourself and others.
Take communion and tune to the Spirit, praying in tongues and prepare yourself with the expectation to have communion with heaven in your dreams.
Sweet dreams to you!
